About Us
Paracelsus Films is an independent video production company, based in Boston, Massachusetts. We strive to create affordable, entertaining character-driven feature length and web-based entertainment. Through connections with local talent and industry professionals we have a core group of talented professionals working with us on current and upcoming projects.
The Company Began in 2007 with only borrowed equipment and a desire to tell an epic story. Our first production, Project Nephilim: Salvation was ambitious to say the least. Producted for only $500, over two dozen cast and crew members worked on the 6 hour web series for nearly 3 years straight (many without pay) to see the project through to the end. The result was a labor of love that shows the evolution of a group of friends with a camera and a makeshift light kit.
Four Years Later we have grown into a company that still believes that you don't need multi-million dollar budgets to tell a good story. Just perserverance, hard work and a little help from friends (begging helps too).
Independant film is a rapidly changing field with opportunities for low to no budget filmmakers growing exponentially with each passing day. It is an adventure and a chance for us to experiment with new ideas and new technologies. And as we grow with each sucess (or yes, failure) we invite you along for the journey and hope at the very least, we entertain you.
